upgrade Toshiba 1110 satellite to a larger hard disk

Also, 1110 Series 1710, 1735...
I upgrade my Toshiba 1110 satellite to a larger hard disk; in generally it has 20GB with 4200 rpm. For me this drive was too small, so I purchased a hard drive, it is 100 GB with 4200 rpm. I created this website to help those who may need it to upgrade their Toshiba 1110-satellite or similary….

1. Begin by removing the shown screws on the bottom of the casing

2. Remove the two screws on the back of the computer shown.

3. This is the trickiest step: CAREFULLY pry off the plastic plate covering the area above the keyboard. Start on each side, and carefully lift it off. After that is complete, remove the four screws indicated.

4. Carefully pull the two pins on each side of the keyboard cable and (likewise, carefully) pull out the cable.

after you move up the key board you can see the pin and slide cable connection, move this by slowly

don't forget this
